Love is Art: Philadelphia Wedding Photographer

Tuesday, October 27, 2009 | |

I had the craziest weekend filled with love and art. We were with Kelly & Justin for their engagement shoot on Saturday. They are an awesome couple, and I'm so glad we met. Kelly was brave, despite the forecast for thunderstorms and flooding. She was ready for anything - with a smile on her face. She had her makeup done that afternoon before the shoot by Kristyn April at the Face and Body Spa in Yardley, Pa. She looked amazing ALL DAY. They took us around New Hope and all the amazing little corners here and there - including their favorite spot to stop and get a martini. Kelly & Justin were willing go anywhere - even offered to get a tatoo (not necessary, but I appreciated their willingness to cooperate). We stopped by Justin's parents house (they live nearby) to get a few shots. Justin's family is a creative bunch making anything you can think of out of metal. The one shot we got had a metal wall sculpture behind Justin's head in the rain...awesome. See for yourself.

This is how we started our session...near the railroad tracks when a train comes right on through...and Kelly & Justin are laughing... that's pretty much how the day went.

Exactly.

This one is Jake's - awesome.

I love this one...

But this is my favorite from the day.

Thanks guys for a great session - And we can't wait for your wedding in April!
