Weird Science - a day with Grandpa: South Jersey Child Photographer

Remember your chemistry class?...Me neither. My dad, however, is a wildly imaginative and highly motivated chemistry teacher. He offered to show my boys around the lab with a few "small" experiments he thought the kids may like. I should have known they would have been wild, my dad's experiments often end with the fire department being called. We had no major incidents (whew), but the boys sure had a lot of fun.....Don't try this at home.



They all look so very serious with their microscope....too cute.



Here's something even I thought was cool....better than the horse of a different color.



Even Gavin got in on the action...Seriously, Don't try this at home...



This last one is what happens to a gummy bear in potassium chloride (I think...)



Makes you wonder what heartburn looks like.
